Yesterday we had parent teacher conferences for Miles and Makayla. Madisons teacher said she didn't need to have one with us. Which I found disappointing, but I guess that's a good sign. First we started with Makaylas teacher and she had nothing but good things to say about her. Of Course!! She kept saying she is such a good girl. And I kept thinking....yes she is! She had all A's & B's of course. The only area she was struggling in was reading comprehension. Which in my opinion is kind of hard to grasp when you're younger. I always struggled with this as well. Then we met with Miles teacher and funny.....but he was struggling in that same area, reading comprehension. He is doing really great in Math. She said that she teases him and says she is going to just keep him for next year because she doesn't want him to go. Awwww! He also had all A's & B's. And the one thing that REALLY stuck out to me was when Makaylas teacher turned to Arden and said. "I know both of your children, and you should be so proud because they are really great kids." His face lit up! I could see how proud he was in the "Great Big" smile on his face. Wow what a powerful thing for a father to hear. And she is right. They are fantastic kids. With great big hearts! And we love them so very much! Great job Miles & Makayla!

OoOoOoooo Baby baby.....
Saturday I spent about an hour & half taking some pictures of my cousin Jennifer and her boyfriend Craig. They are expecting a baby boy on June 22nd this year. Their first baby! So exciting! I love babies.
They seem excited and nervous all in one. I remember how that felt. But what they don't realize now and eventually they will is......everything will be fine! One of God's greatest gifts is children.
We went to Krider Garden and The Essenhaus for our photo shoot. They were a lot of fun. I can't wait to take pictures of Camren after he's here!!!!
The Grasshopper And The Ants
So last thursday was Madison's school spring concert at school. When we got there (half and hour early) I had to take her up to her classroom while Arden found us seats. Well I forgot to tell him that Madi said she would be on the right side of the gym in front of the tree that had white snowflakes. Why would a perfectly green spring tree have white snowflakes was my first thought. But anyways.......so of course he sat on the left side. Totally my fault. Plus we were in the last row & we couldn't see a thing! Not to mention there wasn't even enough seats for all the families that came to watch. A lot of people had to stand in the back of the gym to watch. So in my effort to get at least one good picture of my beautiful little girl, singing her heart out, I crawled in front of the front row (and I wasn't alone. other moms did this too.) to snap a few quick pics.
My daughter spottted me and when I waved she looked Horrified! Uhhh??!! Love you to dear! So I quietly made my way back to my "last row" seat. The pictures I DID get weren't very good. But I wasn't going to make any more attempts.....in fear of embarrassing my little girl. That is the last thing I'd want to do.
Or maybe it was our clashing of "plaids" that embarrassed her.
